IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT FOR PARTIES BOOKED JULY 2026 & ONWARD:

As we continue to evolve as a learning space, we’re making a thoughtful shift in how we host birthday parties in order to better align with our future goals.

Our former event room will now serve as a dedicated classroom for our learning pods and will no longer be available for party use. Because of this change, we will no longer be offering table and chair setups.

We understand that having moments to connect during these events are valuable, so we are transforming our current art room into a cozy coffee lounge. This space will feature comfortable seating arranged around the perimeter, along with a coffee bar for guests to enjoy throughout the party. Food will be set up buffet-style in our reception area rather than as a seated, full-meal arrangement. As part of this transition, we are encouraging guests to lean into a lighter, more flexible party format. Cake and simple refreshments best fit our new format rather than large, sit-down meals.

Over the past two years of hosting parties, we’ve consistently observed that the event room was often underutilized for much of the celebration. Most families naturally gravitated toward the play space, with guests preferring to move freely and snack casually rather than sit for a structured meal. As a result, the event room frequently sat empty or was only used briefly, which made it feel like the space wasn’t being used to its fullest potential. While this shift may feel counterintuitive at first, it’s directly informed by these patterns and allows us to better match the space to how parties actually unfold at Small Talk.

We understand that this change will not be the right fit for every family, but this updated approach allows us to preserve the intentional learning atmosphere of Small Talk while still creating a special celebration space for your child. Beginning in July 2026, our amenities will include:

8 bentwood lap desks and floor cushions for children

12ft long buffet for food

20ft of bench seating

Coffee Bar

Bluetooth speaker for music or presentations

Free WiFi access for you upon request

Trash bins, and trash bag removal

Restroom access with changing station

Private events include all amenities listed above, along with private access to all play spaces. Our play space is designed for children ages 0-4 years of age, however private event guests may fall outside of this range. ALL CHILDREN, REGARDLESS OF AGE, MUST BE ACCOMPANIED BY AN ADULT WHILE ATTENDING PRIVATE EVENTS.

Private events include 30 minutes of set-up time, and 30 minutes of clean-up time before and after all events. For example, if you book an event from 1-3pm, you may show up to set up for the event at 12:30pm, and you may stay to clean up until 3:30pm. Your guests, however, are not permitted to arrive during the set-up time, nor stay during the clean-up time.

$50 deposit is required at the time of booking to hold event date. The deposit goes toward the total cost of the event.

YOUR EVENT IS NOT CONFIRMED UNTIL YOU HAVE RECEIVED AND SIGNED AN EVENT CONTRACT, THIS CONTRACT WILL BE SENT ONCE A DATE IS BOOKED USING THE BUTTON BELOW.
